Online American Express Credit Card
These days, a credit card has become almost a necessity. It’s no joke trying to order tickets for the theatre without your American Express card, if like me you have cancelled it. I don’t think I realized how many of the most basic things in life relied on having a credit card, even to joining my local gym in Philadelphia. Not that many years ago, people preferred cash to credit, but not now.
Using an American Express, Visa or Mastercard has become commonplace globally but we do it without thinking, do I need this and do I have the money. Although American Express credit cards are a really convenient way to make a purchase - get it now and worry about it tomorrow - it does come at a heavy cost. In some places, credit card debt is spiraling out of control. It is true that credit debts are one of the biggest problems that are facing America today, and that is no joke.
This is the primary reason I decided to cancel my American Express credit card recently. There was nothing to stop me because I wasn’t actually taking money from my pocket. Mounting debts lead me to realize that I had been using my card for everything and anything including food! The debt became too great for me to pay and I didn’t know what to do.
To get my debt back into a position where I could pay for it I resorted to using a debt refinancing company. The whole situation was a nightmare. Now, I have gotten my debt paid off and cancelled my American Express credit card. Most of you reading this will probably think it’s not the fault of the credit card but you need to understand something fundamental about human psychology.
When I had to pay with everything in cash, I would know just what I had at any given time. Credit cards make it too easy, especially because you rarely look at the cost. I would just keep spending, not realizing until all the money was gone. So now there is no American Express credit card problem for me to worry about.
